Created by my 13 year old son. R

I finally decided to upgrade my Ipsy to the glam bag plus. Yup stupid me did so because I though for sure my unemployment would be taken care of my the time I was to be billed for this. Wishful thinking on my part. Unemployment issues is also why this blog is going out late. Been spending most of my days trying to get a hold of someone to no avail.

Despite the bad crap and don’t know if I can continue this box, I will share what I received in my July box.

This is the cute little make up bag that came in my box. Nothing real special about it but it does have a cute little airplane zipper handle. Kids usually take these from me to put some of their legos, small toys or pens and pencils.

Ciate London Watermelon Burst Hydrating Primer

Long lasting light weight vegan primer that hydrates, refines pores, brightens and helps protect your skin. Long lasting meaning 24 hours. Made with Watermelon extract that contains vitamin C and antioxidants.Comes in a soft plastic tube with a pump. Its a gel with little beads meant to represent watermelon seeds.

The only thing I like about this is the scent. Actually has a pleasantly sweet watermelon scent. I applied a thin layer onto my freshly washed face and wanted to remove it immediately. I don’t know if I have weird skin but it did not absorb well and it made my face feel tacky. The cost for this one is $28. https://us.ciatelondon.com/collections

Purlisse Beauty Matcha Green Tea Antioxidant Priming Moisturizer

Green tea is a naturally rich antioxidant which this moisturizer contains. White tea, vitamin E and French marine plants that soothes and nourishes the skin. Making all this perfect for people with sensitive skin. Light weight and oil free.

Do not use primers but I feel that this one will be fine to use alone. Have very sensitive skin and was happy to see that it did not cause any kind of reaction to my face. It absorbed nicely into my skin leaving it soft and not greasy. I have tried many of their products through Ipsy and so far my favorite was their Watermelon facial scrub. So I am sure that I will enjoy this product. The cost for this full size product is $45. https://purlisse.com/

Ofra Cosmetica-Ofra x NikkieTutorials ” Glazed Donut” Highlighter

Frosty white pearl liquid to baked powdered highlighter. All natural, vegan and cruelty free. Goes on like butter.

I do not use or like highlighters. Again to each their own. I never quite understood why people like this.

Ipsy says the value of this is $30 but on the Ofra site this is selling for $35. https://www.ofracosmetics.com/

Ittse-The Fulton Magnetic Eyeshadow Quad

“Buttery” texture that you can be easily applied with your fingers or a make-up brush. Contains 4 mattes and shimmers that you can wear alone or create a smokey look. Keep the plastic so you don’t get particles everywhere.

Pearl Eyeshadows- Metamorphosis, Beatnik, Pink Pearl

Matte Eyeshadow- Grace

Palette- Florentine gold

Ipsy says the values is $60 and on the Ittse site yes it also says same price but I am assuming it is only $24 https://ittse.com/

Tarte- Sea Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara

This 12 hour flake free and smudge proof mascara will give you think and voluminous lashes.Contains vitamin E and marine algae that will conditions each lash. Ok, now on the IPSY site it says ” good for you and our furry friends” yet never tested on animals. SOOO am I silly for thinking you can make your doggie have nice thick and pretty lashes too? Either way my doggie doesn’t like her nails being done so pretty sure she wont like having mascara applied. Even though she would be so adorable.

Ugh, I tried this mascara hoping that it would help with my lashes. I just have no luck with finding the perfect one to make me look like I have lashes again ( yes found one but wait for me to tell you about it next month). It seems like the older I get the less lashes I have and not liking that. One thing I like about subscription boxes is that I get to try out a lot of mascaras in search for that perfect one. And well I will add this Tarte mascara to the long list of one that don’t work for me. The cost for this one is $23. https://tartecosmetics.com/

The total value of this box based off the cost from their actual product sites and not Ipsy is $155. I paid only $25 so I am pretty sure that is a very good deal. I do not regret my decision to upgrade and hope to be able to continue. I have had been subscribed to Ipsy for many years now. Of course just the glam bag. I never had any issues with them and if I am not able to get one box all I have to do is skip a month. I love that they have added the options to be able to choose some of the items for your box.

Ispy has three different options to choose from-

Glam bag: You will get 5 deluxe size samples and a cute make up bag for only $12.

Glam bag plus: This one has 5 full size products and a make up bag for only $25 and so very worth it. This one I get to choose 3 items that I would like to have in my box.

Glam bag ultimate: You will get 12 total beauty products. 8 will be full size and 4 deluxe samples for $50 a month.

You answer a survey when you sign up to help them be able to best customize your items. After you get you bag and try out items review the products for points. Once you get enough you can use them to get a deluxe or a full size product depending on how many points you have.

****** Again I have to give credits to my two sons for helping me out with taking the pictures and editing. Love having this being a family project. And seeing love seeing how talented they are and sharing their work with all of you.
