Boxycharm

Value of this box is around $120 for only $25 a month. You will get 5 full size items with a choice of one

BoxyLuxe

Value of this box is about $250 and pay $49.99. You will get this box only in March, June, September, and December. It has beauty and lifestyle products(8+) and you will get a choice of two. This box replaces the base box during the Luxe months.

Boxycharm Premium

The value of this box is about $175 for only $35 a month. You will get about 6-7 beauty items with a choice of one.

I receive the regular Boxycharm each month. I keep saying that I will try the BoxyLuxe but until things improve financially I will stick with the base box. I cant say that I love this box but I do like it. One reason is that despite taking a quiz as to what skin type and make-up preferences I very rarely get anything close to what I have marked. Actually I get the opposite. And out of the 5 items each month I only can use maybe two rarely three. What I don’t use I will not touch in order to give it away. Unless it is something that I know my daughter or daughter in law will use. Probably why I don’t cancel the subscription. The products that I do keep well I keep because it appears to be something that I am willing to try.

Anyway, Here is what I got in my June box…..

dr. Brandt skin care. Its an hydro biotic recovery sleeping mask. It is a gel that is light and reference free in which you apply it onto a cleansed face leaving it on overnight.

Contains

  1. Biotic balancing complex helps maintain skins natural flora
  2. Unique delivery matrix peptides with honey, boswellia and tea extracts to reduce redness and sooth skin.
  3. Ceramides, fatty acids and tamarindo extract for hydration, improves elasticity and reduces water loss.

Again this is a mask that you apply and leave on overnight to balance natural flora, reduce redness, & irritation, and restores skin hydration in 24 hours.

I usually love any product of dr. Brandt but I hate any kind of overnight masks. The value of this is $52.00

Tula– Glow & Get it cooling and brightening eye balm.

This eye balm has a probiotics. The strains are lactococcus ferment, lysate which helps to hydrate and keep in the moisture. It also has caffeine to tighten and firm the skin. Aloe, apple and watermelon for deep hydration. Blueberry which is rich in antioxidants. It is perfect for all skin types. Completely cruelty free, along with being free from fragrance, alcohol and lauryl sulfate.

Apply it under and around the eyes along with tops of your cheekbones, before and after make-up. Reapply through out the day.

This is the item I chose for my box and can say that I totally love it. It glides on gently and absorbs well into the skin. It is not at all greasy and leaves the under of my eyes soft and smooth not to mention they do appear to be a bit brightened. Very pleased with my choice. The value of this is right at $28. http://www.tula.com

Touch in Sol- Fill up orange eye shadow palette

This palette had 9 shades shade of matte, glitter and one very glittery. Glide on softly, will not crease and is long lasting. Apply with a brush or your finger to make a subtle look, layer it or just use singly.

I was afraid to try these because of the orange tones. I applied the chai-ful, study break and caution hot and didn’t look to bad on and didn’t appear too pigmented on my eye. The caution hot is very messy however and got all over. Have to be very careful with that one but I love glittery eye shadows. It looks great when I applied some swatches on my lovely old hand but didn’t come out the same on my eye lids. Still love it and will continue to use it. Just have to find the proper way to apply the really orange glittery one without making a mess. The value for this interesting palette is $32. http://www.ulta.com or http://www.touchinsol-us.com

Beauty Vaulte-Circadian Lip Liner Trio

These richly pigmented and long lasting liners glides on as smooth as butter. You can use them to couture your lips or alone to cover the whole lip. And these can also be sharpened.

  1. kozy Kira- Mauve Brown
  2. Beau Babe- Rust brown
  3. Natty Nat- Deep red

Can’t stand these colors at all. Sorry way too dark and well that one red is too red. I also never use lip liners. Would have done swatches but think these might not be something my daughter or daughter in law would like so they will be kept untouched. The value for these lip liners cost about $18.00. https://beautyvaulte.com/

Laura Geller Multitasking Eye, Lip, Cheek Palette

This is a 3 pan cream to power easy to blend set in shades of nude. Just like the titles says you can use any of the three shades on your eye, lips or even your cheeks. Too dark for me not a fan and will not be using. I was also not too happy about the cover being cracked. These retail for about $24.00. https://www.laurageller.com/

This really was not my favorite box. I will only use 2 out of the 5 products. Probably give the rest away. I eventually want to figure out about how to do give aways for the stuff I do not keep but not to sure how well that will work out. I will figure it out soon. But if you like this box you can go to http://www.boxycharm.com to subscribe. I listed the choices and prices at the top. Let me know if you receive it and if you liked the products you received along with your favorite.

“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”

  1. The Tula Cooling and brightening cream sounds amazing! I’ve never heard of the brand before but I’ll have to check it out.

Sounds like a great Boxy Charm box.
